How to get Veteran's Battle Axe
- Sweep Blackridge Cliffs after Widow's Overlook.
- Enter King's Crypt. Continue until the floor drops into a hole.
- Loot the body at the rear of that room.
- Optional: clear Holding Cells for Inflamed Clawstone, the fire infusion listed for this axe.
When to use it
- Earliest real two-hander if Axe & Dagger's tempo is too fast.
- Week 1 did not make this the new meta — it remains a comfortable exploration weapon.
Before you leave
- The hole is the pickup room. If you quit out thinking it is a death pit, you missed the axe.
