How to get Axatana
- Siphon Ova at Marrow Keep until you can purify the southern roof pad. Do not start the game in Mammon.
- Launch to Outskirts of Mammon. Run the battlefield through the destroyed gate toward Castigator's Keep.
- From Castigator's Keep, follow the eastern Bone Gate trail to Forgotten Tower. GameRant's long way comes via Sester's Gate and another Bone Gate through a hole in the wall.
- Do not hunt for an interior lever. Circle to the tower's east exterior and step on the pressure plate.
- Kill the guard inside and take Axatana from the recessed wall cubby.
- If you already have Duality Stone from Ravaged Tomb, slot it before the next boss. Week 1 buffed slower heavies, so Axatana is the flexible pick, not the only pick.
When to use it
- Morphing between fast and heavy attacks covers groups and boss punish windows with one upgrade path.
- Balance Patch 1 improved its light-attack tracking. Duality Stone doubles standing light combos.
- Launch tier lists and this site's best-weapons page both put it in S for flexibility, not for raw single-hit damage.
Before you leave
- The pickup is easy to walk past if you only search the tower interior.
- Forgotten Tower is a Mammon power check. Bring a Shell and a heal upgrade.
- Unequip Grisha Remnant before Zmey even if this is your main weapon.
