Mortal Shell 2 Troubadour's Lute Location

Quick answer: Siphon enough Ova for Mether's Breath, cleanse the east corruption from Mushroom Village, enter the One-Legged Wolf Tavern, and pick the Lute up beside the stage. It inflicts Confusion and is the only sidearm that cannot be upgraded. Beta location guides are wrong.

How to get Troubadour's Lute
- Siphon Ova at Marrow Keep until Mether's Breath appears. GameRant lists 8 Ova for the east wall; you already start the overworld with some.
- From Mushroom Village Beacon, head toward Hilga's house, then through the corruption and the first left toward One-Legged Wolf.
- The tavern is not inside Mushroom Village. A notice board can advertise it; the building sits on the eastern cliff.
- Enter. Gragu is at a table. The barkeep sells Common Moonshine and Hand of Rock.
- Walk onto the stage. The Troubadour's Lute leans in the corner / beside the performer. Pick it up — seeing the map pin is not enough for Guns. Lots of Guns.
When to use it
- Low damage, high utility: Confusion makes enemies attack each other for a few seconds. Launch write-ups call it one of the strongest sidearms for that reason.
- Balance Patch 1 doubled its attack. It still does not take Tarforge weapon levels.
- Same visit as Gragu's Heart of Vatra quest and the Heavy Metal trophy (play all five tracks).
Before you leave
- Open Beta players who return to the old dungeon will not find it. The retail pickup is the tavern stage.
- Equip it as a sidearm, aim, then fire/play and cycle tracks on the D-pad for Heavy Metal. Details: the Heavy Metal page.
