How to Reach Egon in Castigator's Keep
- Reach Outskirts of Mammon: Siphon enough Ova at Marrow Keep to clear the corruption on the second jump pad, then launch to the Outskirts of Mammon.
- Head to Castigator's Keep: Follow the path southeast past the alchemist workshop and bridge until you tag the Castigator's Keep Beacon.
- Enter the Central Tower: From the Beacon, cross the open stone courtyard. The entrance to the central keep tower is straight ahead. Egon sits hunched in the middle of the circular chamber.
Feeding Egon & The 2x Gloom Refund
Unlike merchants who take Coins, Egon hungers strictly for character Gloom:
- Deposit in Chunks: Select the dialogue prompt to feed him Gloom. You can deposit in 5,000 or 10,000 increments depending on your current reserves.
- Watch the Transformation: With each feeding, Egon grows increasingly swollen and his dialogue mutters darker prophecies.
- Completion Threshold: Once your total deposit reaches 10,000 to 20,000 Gloom, Egon collapses in a fatal burst, unlocking the silver trophy Feed Me.
- Collect Your Double Payout: Loot the glowing orb left on the floor. It refunds approximately twice the Gloom you spent (20,000 to 40,000 Gloom) alongside Egon's Stone.

Frequently asked questions
Where is Egon in Mortal Shell 2?
Egon is inside the central stone tower of Castigator's Keep in Outskirts of Mammon. Cross the courtyard from the Castigator's Keep Beacon and enter the doorway at the base of the tower.
How much Gloom does Egon need for Feed Me?
Egon requires approximately 10,000 to 20,000 Gloom in total, fed in chunks. Keep offering Gloom until he explodes/dies, which triggers the 'Feed Me' silver achievement.
What rewards do you get from Egon?
Upon dying, Egon drops double your invested Gloom (up to 40,000 Gloom) and Egon's Stone, a Fragile Tarstone that can be salvaged for bonus crafting materials and Tarcore.
Is Feed Me missable?
Yes. Interacting with the Gloom Siphon in Marrow Keep to 'Send Ova' triggers the ending and resets the world into New Game Plus, making Egon unavailable until the next playthrough.
