Quest walkthrough

  1. Use the Castigator's Keep Beacon in Outskirts of Mammon and enter the keep's central stone tower.
  2. Speak to Egon and choose the option to feed him your stored Gloom.
  3. Deposit Gloom in chunks (5,000 to 10,000 increments) and watch for his dialogue and physical appearance to warp.
  4. Continue depositing until Egon collapses and dies, unlocking the silver trophy 'Feed Me'.
  5. Loot his remains immediately to recover roughly double your deposited Gloom (up to 40,000) plus Egon's Stone.

Important note

Source consensus: PowerPyx and NerdsChalk report 10,000 to 20,000 Gloom invested yields a 2x return on death. Complete this quest before triggering Send Ova, as starting NG+ permanently closes his tower.
