How Send Ova becomes available
- Build the endgame currency total to 168 Ovum through Corrupted Gates, Beacons, and other activities.
- Return to the Gloom Siphon room in Marrow Keep and use the newly opened route below it.
- Defeat the three Unfound Path guardians and then Zmey, the Unbidden.
- Return to the Gloom Siphon. The Send Ova option is now the final commitment.
If the option is missing, recheck the Ovum requirement and confirm that Zmey has been defeated.
What is not the point of no return?
Entering a Corrupted Gate, defeating a gate boss, collecting enough Ova to open the Unfound Path, and defeating Zmey do not by themselves close free roam. You can return to Marrow Keep after the final fight and continue cleanup as long as you do not select Send Ova.
Before Send Ova checklist
- Finish the Mid Summer? and No, You Still Can't Win prologue achievements on a new save if you missed them.
- Complete open NPC requests and the Baghead joke-ending interaction you still want to see.
- Collect unresolved Shells, weapons, sidearms, Tarstones, map fragments, and Beacon rewards.
- Spend vulnerable currencies and finish the upgrades you want ready at the start of NG+.
- Attempt Peter's Perfect Parry against The Nameless Captive if you want it on the current cycle.
The two tutorial achievements cannot be recovered by simply continuing into NG+ because the new cycle skips that opening sequence. Peter's Perfect Parry can be attempted again in a later cycle.
What happens after Send Ova?
The ending plays and the next cycle begins. Character progression, collected equipment, upgrades, currencies, revealed map coverage, and most inventory progress carry over; story state, bosses, quests, Corrupted Gates, most Beacons, custom map markers, and the Ovum total reset.
