Mortal Shell 2 Withered Shoals Walkthrough

How to enter

1. From Outskirts of Mammon, take the path behind the first Mammon map crow into the Abandoned Slums, then Lonesome Spire / Gate of Mammon (Fextralife progress route).
2. Cleanse Gate of Mammon. That is the lock on this Corrupted Gate — not Fainweald's Nochtean Gate. One Game8 hub line mixes those names; the Shoals themselves sit behind Gate of Mammon.
3. Inside: three Beacons. Activate them as you push. GamingProMax lists Ossinite Falls, Nameless Pass, and Hexapod's Burrow.

Through the Shoals

1. Ossinite Falls. Game8: fight the fodder, descend the stairs, clear two Bell Snails at the gate start, loot the extra Gloom.
2. Nameless Pass. Beacon here. Completing Odious Crevice rewards Charged Stone (Game8). RPS later recommends Charged on Salvaged Trebuchaxe for charge speed.
3. Hexapod's Burrow. Interact with Proxima's vestige if you want the Glimpse summon. Climb the cliff / “arm.” Before the drop, enter the hollow for the Depleted Gland (healing upgrade).
4. Leap into the void to start Hexapod. Do not drop until the gland is in inventory.

Hexapod

• GameSpot calls this the most readable of the three Mammon gate bosses. Tentacle spreads telegraph; the head is exposed.
• Squid Surge: red flash, ram. Dodge sideways, punish recovery.
• Game8: do not linger in front after a stagger — unblockable grab. Fingers all unfurled = stop attacking and dodge. Flank.
• Spirit summon: Proxima (1 Glimpse). She holds aggro while you infuse.
