Mortal Shell 2 Citadel of Penance Walkthrough
Quick answer: The Citadel of Penance is the compact northwest fortress. Ride the central elevator, survive the collapsing pit and The Warden, then inhabit Eredrim. From the Citadel side you can also reach Desolate Peak for Baghead. RPS treats this as its own 100% slice for a reason — it is dense with Brigands and a new Shell.

How to enter
- Northwest Fainweald. One community route uses a pouch in a northeast ruin to drop into the lower citadel.
- The Citadel Gate Lever opens the approach from the fortress side; Grudge Stone is in a chest south of the Citadel Beacon after that lever.
Inside
- Activate the Citadel Beacon as soon as it exists.
- Ride the central elevator. The floor can collapse into a fighting pit.
- Defeat The Warden. Several attacks are flagged unblockable — dodge, do not Perfect Guard on red. Warden guide.
- Inhabit Eredrim and finish the memory for Vengeance is Mine.
- Optional: Citadel of Penance side toward Gloomshade Grove / Desolate Peak for Baghead.
