Mortal Shell 2 Tiel Location & Shadow Guide
Quick answer: From Widow's Overlook, follow the southeast dirt path toward Mushroom Village. Do not enter the village. The torch-lit enclosure holds Tiel's shallow grave. Interact, finish the memory, and stay in Tiel.

Region: Fainweald — Widow's Overlook / Mushroom Village approach
Combat identity: Lingering Shadow turns Tiel invisible for a crouched approach and a Shadow Strike that usually staggers. Shadow Dash grants invisibility and stagger if you dash just before a hit. Bond 3 Lethality is the launch-week breakpoint: Shadow Strike can refund Resolve and has a chance to re-enter stealth.
Tiel unlock steps
- Activate Widow's Overlook and rest once.
- Take the dirt path southeast. Pass the optional Great Arbiter arena if you are not ready for it.
- Look for a fenced enclosure marked by torches. Tiel is in the shallow grave at the center of the marked circle.
- Inhabit the body and complete the Shell memory so the unlock is permanent (Forever Alone?).
- Put Bond 1 Glimpse into Tiel before spending Glimpse on summons.
Before you leave
- Tiel is highlighted early; do not spend Gloom to buy a Shell map for him after Balance Patch 1.
- Invisibility drops if you dash again, get hit, or land a normal attack. Healing with Mether's Pulse does not break stealth in launch reports.
