Mortal Shell 2 How to Heal
Quick answer: Your flask is Mether's Pulse — default R on PC, D-pad Up on Xbox. Resting at a Beacon refills Pulse charges and restores Resolve, but also respawns enemies. Weltcap mushrooms are the on-the-ground heal. Glands add charges; Vessels make each charge heal more.

Heal options, ranked for a first run
| Method | What it restores | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Mether's Pulse | A chunk of HP | One charge. Refills at a Beacon. |
| Beacon rest | Full HP and Resolve | Enemies in the area come back. |
| Weltcaps | Some HP when eaten | Consumable mushrooms found in the world. |
| Leech Tarstones | HP on kill once stacked | Needs the right Combat stone, e.g. Parasitic or Unwieldy. |
There is no Estus-style infinite chug. If Pulse is empty and you are far from a Beacon, Weltcaps and kill-heals are the backup. Do not sit at a Beacon in the middle of a dungeon you were clearing unless you want the trash back.

Make the flask actually last
- Revered Glands add Pulse charges. Buy the first one from Merrick in Marrow Keep.
- Synaptic Vessels increase HP per charge. Buy the first one from Merrick as well.
- Apply upgrades at a Beacon through Mether's Pulse. Picking the item up is not the whole step.
- Harbinger levels from Gloom also raise HP. That is slower, but it is why a short farm before a gate boss helps.
Full pickup routes live on the healing upgrades page. Launch checklists disagree on the complete Gland/Vessel count, so track by location instead of a single total.
