How to Upgrade Your Heals (Capacity vs Efficiency)
Unlike games with a single upgrade currency, Mortal Shell 2 splits healing progression into two separate upgrade items:
- Capacity (Depleted Glands): Each Depleted Gland found in dungeons (such as Withered Shoals and Conquered Temple) permanently adds +1 Pulse charge to your flask capacity.
- Efficiency (Synaptic Vessels): Each Synaptic Vessel permanently increases the amount of HP restored per charge.

What is Mether's Pulse in Mortal Shell 2?
Mether's Pulse is your primary rechargeable healing flask in Mortal Shell 2. Activated via R (PC) or D-pad Up (Console), it restores a large portion of your Shell's HP instantly. Charges refill automatically whenever you rest at a Beacon.
How do you get more healing charges in Mortal Shell 2?
To increase your maximum Mether's Pulse charge capacity, collect Depleted Glands found in major Corrupted Gate dungeons (such as Withered Shoals and Outskirts of Mammon) and turn them in to upgrade your flask. To increase how much health each sip restores, collect Synaptic Vessels.
Do Beacons respawn enemies when you heal?
Yes. Resting at a Beacon completely restores your HP, Resolve, and Mether's Pulse charges, but it respawns all non-boss enemies in the surrounding region.
What other healing items exist besides Mether's Pulse?
You can consume Weltcap mushrooms (for regeneration) found growing in marsh areas like Widow's Overlook and Mushroom Village, or equip Leech/Parasitic Tarstones to siphon health upon scoring kills and Ripostes.
