The four Fragile stones

Fextralife also lists Merrick selling copies for Coin after the patch. Treat shop stock as a backup, not the farm.
Where to farm them
- Justiciar / Gloombound / Egon: GameRant's best ordinary Lithopod cluster is next to Outskirts of Nochte Beacon. Kill the stone crabs, rest, repeat.
- Glimpse Stone: Unfound Path only, after you siphon enough Ova (GameRant: 167) and open the path under Marrow Keep. Use Chamber of the Forsaken. Rest, run to the cave exit, knock the three Obsidian Lithopods off with the Forgotten Crossbow, return, repeat. About one stone per ~15-second loop in that write-up.
You still need 27 Glimpse to max one Shell. A normal run funds about three. The remaining five Shells are 135 Glimpse, or 45 Glimpse Stones at 3 each — that is the post-Week 1 math if you want every Bond 4 on PC.
How to spend them
- Egon's Stone in an unknown dungeon: the entrance revive is the point. When it breaks, that death does not drop Gloom.
- Gloombound on a farm loop, Justiciar when you are buying Merrick / barkeep stock.
- Glimpse Stone only after Unfound Path is open, unless Merrick actually has one in your build.
- Breaking a Fragile stone is intended. Week 1 also increased Tarcore from other Tarstone upgrades so you can reinvest.
Bond refunds are a different item: Mether's Severance at Zhirelle. Fragile stones do not respec Shells.

How do Fragile Tarstones work in Mortal Shell 2?
They sit in Support / Shell slots, wear down as you use their effect, then break for Tarcore plus a bonus (Coins, Gloom, a death save, or Glimpses). They are not unique; you can find more copies.
How do I farm Glimpse Stones?
Only Obsidian Lithopods in the Unfound Path drop them. GameRant's loop is Chamber of the Forsaken Beacon, knock three crabs off a ledge with the Forgotten Crossbow, rest, repeat. Each stone breaks into 3 Glimpses after 20 kills.
Can I stack Glimpse Stones?
No. GameRant: Fragile stacking is not possible, so you run one Glimpse Stone at a time. You can still mix different Fragile types in the four Support slots.
Did my old Gloombound / Justiciar stone get deleted?
Week 1 converted existing copies of those two into Fragile versions with stronger passives and on-break effects. The unique chest pickups still exist as the first copy; extra copies now drop from Lithopods.
